Congress has been spurred to move quickly on turning the presidential decree sorting out the seat allocation dispute and calling elections for 18 December [WR-05-44] into law. A maverick opposition legislator has filed a suit with the constitutional tribunal claiming that the decree violates the exclusive prerogative of congress to legislate.
