BOLIVIA | Gas propels export growth. Export earnings in the first nine months of the year totalled US$1.9bn, or 18.7% more than in the same period of 2004. Hydrocarbons (mainly natural gas) accounted for 44.9% of total earnings; manufacturing, though 4.5% down on 2004, for another 35.2%. Bolivia's five main export markets in this period were: Brazil (US$670m), US (US$277m), Argentina (US$183m), Colombia (US$133m) and Venezuela (US$124m).
