NICARAGUA: Trivelli accuses Chávez of electoral interference

Development: On 4 May the US ambassador to Nicaragua, Paul Trivelli, accused Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez of interfering in the electoral process by openly supporting the leader of the Frente Sandinista de la Liberación Nacional (FSLN), Daniel Ortega, ahead of presidential elections on 5 November.
