Venezuela builds up pressure over Posada

Venezuela presented a draft resolution to the permanent council of the OAS on 23 May calling on the US to extradite Luis Posada Carriles, the Cuban anti-Castro activist who was released from custody earlier this month by a US federal judge. It said that failure to extradite Posada could "debilitate" international efforts against terrorism. "There are no good terrorists or terrorists that should be protected," Venezuela's representative to the OAS, Jorge Valero, said.
