Development: On 7 April, Nicaragua's central bank (BCN) published a report on foreign cooperation which showed that aid from Venezuela reached US$511m in 2010, bringing the total received from Venezuela by the government of President Daniel Ortega since he took office in 2007 to US$1.59bn.
