MEXICO: Guerrillas issue threats

Guerrilla groups based in southern Mexico have made two separate threats. First, on 29 November two guerrilla groups announced that they would fight against the construction of a hydro-electric dam in Guerrero. Then on 3 December, the Ejército Popular Revolucionario, (EPR), the most active of the two groups, issued a communiqué saying that it was ending its truce with the government.
