Constitutional crisis looms in El Salvador

Development: On 6 June four of El Salvador's five constitutional court (CC) judges declared unconstitutional a temporary legislative decree (743), passed on 2 June by the right-wing opposition in congress and sanctioned by President Mauricio Funes, which mandates that CC decisions must be passed unanimously, rather than by four votes.
