Uribe goes over the top

Development: On 3 August a Colombian national deputy, Iván Cepeda of the left-wing Polo Democrático Alternativo (PDA), announced he had submitted to the attorney general (AG)’s office his own recording of a former paramilitary leader, who allegedly bore witness to dealings between the sons of former President Alvaro Uribe (2002-2010) and paramilitaries in Santa Marta, capital of the department of Magdalena.
