One of the Neo-Liberals’ favourite correlations is the apparent relationship between completing secondary education or graduating from high school and avoiding poverty. There is a very strong probability that any child who completes his or her secondary education will not fall below the poverty line. The bulk of the social research has been done in the US, but the conclusions appear to apply to all countries.
