*** EASTERN CARIBBEAN GROWTH REVISED DOWN.  On 21 October, a meeting of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) was told that growth in 2011 is now expected to be just 0.4% after two consecutive years of negative growth in 2009 and 2010.  According to the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), there was a further contraction of 0.2% in the first quarter of 2011, followed by a small recovery in the second quarter.
