Gangsters. Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán Loera has risen up the
Forbes Magazine list of the world’s most powerful people. The list is headed by US President Barack Obama. Guzmán, one of the co-heads of the Sinaloa gang, probably the most powerful drug-trafficking gang in Mexico, has moved from number 60 in the 2010 ranking to 55 in the 2011 list. On the same day as
Forbes published its ranking, a senior US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) official said that the Guzmán was “the most dangerous criminal in the world”.
