HONDURAS: Is the cocaine flow shifting from air to sea?

Honduras was also in the headlines in the US thanks to a news report announcing that it had become the ‘cocaine hub’ of the Western Hemisphere. This came on the heels of an announcement by the Honduran authorities that a joint service operation had led to yet another aircraft thought to have been carrying cocaine being forced, after aerial pursuit, to land in La Ceiba. Airborne shipments, though, seem to be declining.
