CUBA: More administrative changes
On 1 March the cabinet announced that it had split the basic industries ministry into an energy & mining ministry and an industry ministry. This takes the number of government ministries up to 24. The cabinet says that it is trying to separate the state’s role as a regulator from its role as an operator of businesses.
