HONDURAS: Coffee problems

The recent dip in the international coffee price is likely to clip US$200m off the country’s export revenues, which had been budgeted by the government at US$1.5bn for the 2011/12 coffee year. In percentage terms the drop will be about 13%. Coffee is the country’s biggest single export.
