Morales accused of divide and rule

Development: On 2 April the president of a Cochabamba-based indigenous group, Central de Pueblos Indígenas del Trópico de Cochabamba (CPITCO), Rosa Chao, accused the government of President Evo Morales of dividing the main lowlands-based indigenous organisation, Cidob, by signing agreements on development projects with the intention of winning over protesters preparing to hold a national march against the proposed highway through an indigenous territory and national park, Isiboro Sécure (Tipnis).
