Development: On 12 April Bolivia’s constitutional court (TCP) admitted an appeal of unconstitutionality presented by the left-wing opposition Movimiento Sin Miedo (MSM) against the law (222) calling a prior referendum (‘consulta’) for residents of the local indigenous territory and national park, Isiboro Sécure (Tipnis), to decide whether a proposed road should go ahead.
