Bolivia | Investigation into Iranian ships claim. On 27 April the government of President Evo Morales announced it would investigate a complaint that its shipping registry has been used by Iranian vessels to sail under the Bolivian flag. The complaint was filed by an NGO, Avaaz, but Bolivia says it has not received any formal objection from either the US or the UN, according to Zoilo Roca Kikunaga, the director of Bolivia’s international shipping registry (RIBB).
