SECURITY | Peña Nieto gets top security advisor. On 14 June Enrique Peña Nieto, the presidential candidate for the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) and opinion poll frontrunner for the 1 July election, announced he had offered General Oscar Naranjo, the former director of Colombia's national police, the post of “international security advisor” in his eventual administration. General Naranjo has accepted the offer.
