Development: On 5 July the central bank (BCRA) approved a request filed by the government led by President Cristina Fernández on 29 June last, asking for the transfer of AR$6bn (US$1.32bn) of international reserves for “ordinary expenditures” plus another US$4.165bn to meet foreign debt repayments.
