ECUADOR | Strengthening energy and mining sector ties with Chile. On 25 July a delegation of Ecuadorean officials led by Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño, Non-renewable Natural Resources Minister Wilson Pástor, and national planning secretary, Pavel Muñoz, arrived in Santiago to hold an inter-ministerial bi-national meeting, which aims to increase cooperation between the two countries in areas such as energy, mining and security.
