Farc video. Colombia’s main leftist insurgent group, Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc), showed themselves open to the tentative new plans for a peace dialogue with the Bogotá government in a four-minute long rap video posted on the Farc’s webpage. The Farc’s leader, Rodrigo Londoño Echeverri ‘Timochenko’, appeared at the start saying that the group “comes to the dialogue table without rancour or arrogance”. Yet provocatively, other Farc members taunted President Juan Manuel Santos in the video, claiming that he decided to seek dialogue after recognising that he could not militarily defeat the Farc.
