MEXICO: Can Google help figure out cartel strategies?

Two Harvard scholars have come up with an ‘easy-to-use and inexpensive’ way of determining how and where Mexico’s drug trafficking organisations operate, and their market strategies. For this they have turned to a novel method: a ‘tool’ based on the use of information indexed by the Google News aggregator.
