Minority gov’t formed in Cayman Islands

Development: On 19 December Britain’s governor of the Cayman Islands (CI), Duncan Taylor, rejected calls for an early election following the ouster of former Premier McKeeva Bush in a no-confidence motion, which in turn followed his arrest on charges of corruption and theft. Instead Taylor has asked Juliana O’Connor-Connolly to form a minority government.
