COLOMBIA: Peace talks still going after a month

The peace talks between the Santos government and the Farc have been moving ahead. Of all the Farc’s attempts to turn the process into a broader political event, the only one that has come close to succeeding is that of putting a radical agrarian reform on the table. In the field the Farc’s unilateral ceasefire has reduced the intensity of hostilities, but breaches in some parts of the country suggest a division in the ranks of the guerrillas.
