Nicaragua-Russia break up drug ring serving Europe

Development: On 12 March in Moscow, Víctor Ivanov, the director of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN) reportedly informed President Vladimir Putin that in a joint operation authorities from Nicaragua and Russia had dismantled a Nicaragua-based drug trafficking ring headed up by a member of the Mexican gang, Los Zetas, believed to be moving cocaine to Europe and Russia.
