Uruguay moves to stop mass dollar inflows

Development: On 6 June Uruguay’s economy minister, Fernando Lorenzo, announced measures aimed at restricting foreign speculative capital inflows, so as to arrest the appreciation of the peso/dollar exchange rate, which is negatively affecting domestic production and exports.
