Municipal election candidate murdered in Chihuahua
Development: On 12 June the Chihuahua state governor, César Duarte Jaquez, revealed that the authorities had found the body of Jaime Orozco Madrigal, the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) mayoral candidate for the Chihuahua municipality of Guadalupe y Calvo, dumped on the side of a road.
