“Desculpem o transtorno, estamos mudando o país!”

‘Excuse the disturbance, we are moving the country!’ was the elated message sent by some of the estimated 250,000 Brazilians that on 17 June took to the streets in largely peaceful marches across 18 cities to express their discontent and frustration at the current state of the country nearly three decades after the return to democracy in 1985.
