Latest polls suggest a close race for the presidency between Xiomara Castro Zelaya, wife of the ousted former president Manuel Zelaya (2006-2009), and Juan Orlando Hernández of the ruling Partido Nacional (PN), one of the two traditional parties that have long alternated in power in Honduras.
