On 11 November the public ministry in the state of Minas Gerais requested an order to freeze the assets of the federal trade minister Fernando Pimentel and issue a charge of administrative improbity relating to a public works concession dating back to 2004, when Pimentel was mayor of the state capital Belo Horizonte.
