Brazil: Government postpones votes while isolating PMDB

Development: Voting on six urgent legislative bills, including a civil rights framework for the internet, has been postponed until next week while the government led by President Dilma Rousseff attempts to neutralise congressional opposition, particularly from its coalition ally, the Partido Movimento Democrático Brasileiro (PMDB).
