Venezuela: Former Chavista political leaders call on Maduro to resign

Development: On 30 June Carlos Guyón and Yoel Acosta Chirinos, two retired military officers close to the late former president Hugo Chávez (1999-2013), called on his successor, President Nicolás Maduro, to resign in order to prevent “a social explosion” in the country.
