Peru’s valiant efforts to broker a deal to address climate change were not entirely in vain. The Lima Climate Change Conference (COP20), held under the auspices of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), scheduled to run from 1-12 December, concluded in the early hours of 14 December.
