MEXICO: US officials warn about Mexico violence

Four senior US officials testifying to a US Senate caucus on international narcotics control on 5 May, forecast that the violence in Mexico would worsen before it got better. Significantly, their view echoes that of Mexico's public security minister, Genaro Garcí­a Luna, who warned international investors a day earlier that the violence in Mexico could go on rising until 2014.
