BOLIVIA: Morales faces gas setback

President Evo Morales is struggling to provide reassurances in light of new uncertainty regarding the actual size of Bolivia's gas reserves. These doubts have emerged following reports in the local press of a new study suggesting that the proven reserves are far less than initially believed. If true, this would be a blow to the Morales government given the importance of developing Bolivia's hydrocarbons sector to his economic plan.
