Tension is mounting ahead of the crucial contest for governor of the Estado de México (Edomex) on 4 June. The last two weeks have been punctuated by acrimonious exchanges on the left of the political spectrum, at the heart of which is the leader of the radical opposition Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena), Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
