Bogotá was rocked by a deadly bomb attack at the upmarket Centro Andino shopping centre this week. The authorities are treating the incident as a terrorist attack and have linked it to an attempt to undermine and destabilise the ongoing peace process that the government led by President Juan Manuel Santos is currently engaged in with Colombia’s guerrilla groups.
