Colombia: Agriculture Minister Aurelio Iragorri has highlighted the positive evolution of the country’s agricultural sector this year by noting that national coffee production increased by 25% in July, while palm oil production increased by 44% in the first half of the year. Coffee and palm oil are two of Colombia’s main agricultural export products and Iragorri said that the increase in their production thanks to continued government assistance programmes was good news for the sector.
