Region: DR continues to boost Central America human rights understanding

The Dominican Republic (DR) is continuing its programme of boosting human rights understanding among security forces and civilian populations across Central America. In November, 415 specialists will graduate from the Dominican Ministry of Defense’s Graduate School of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (EGDH-DIH in the Spanish acronym), having read for a Diploma in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law – the sixth time the course has been run.
