Venezuelan governors-elect called to swear allegiance to constituent assembly
Development: On 21 October, Delcy Rodríguez, president of Venezuela’s controversial national constituent assembly (ANC), called for the five governors-elect from the Mesa de la Unidad Democrática (MUD) main opposition coalition to follow their peers from the ruling Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV) in swearing allegiance to the ANC.
