At the July Caribbean Community (Caricom) Heads of Government meeting in Jamaica, the assembled leaders considered the final report of the Regional Commission on Marijuana, which the community had mandated in March 2014. In the final communique, the leaders “agree that action should be taken at the national level by the relevant authorities to review marijuana’s current status with a view to reclassification taking into account all international obligations”.
