Preparing Brazil for the digital revolution

The challenge facing Brazil over the next ten years can be described as taking shape on two distinct levels. The first can be described as coming up with solutions to Brazil’s problems in the ‘old world’ – in effect, much of the world as we now understand it, with current levels of agricultural, manufacturing, and service-based technology and business models. Yet, superimposed on this comes a second level: solving Brazil’s problems in the emerging ‘new world’ of the global fourth industrial revolution (4IR).
