DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: Medina slammed for ‘electioneering’

On 28 February, Luis Abinader, the presidential candidate of the Dominican Republic's main opposition Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), advised President Danilo Medina (of the ruling Partido de la Liberación Dominicana, PLD) not to try to seek re-election because it will create “crisis” and “ungovernability” in the country.
