* Brazil’s national statistics institute (Ibge) has released the latest figures for the national consumer price index (IPCA) which show that monthly inflation rate in February stood at 0.43%, up from 0.32% in January. The cumulative inflation rate for the last 12 months stands at 3.89%, up from 3.78% in the previous 12 months. The government has set an inflation target of 4.25% for 2019.
