In brief: Paraguay

* According to a report by Paraguay’s agriculture & livestock ministry (MAG), a delegation from Guatemala’s agriculture, livestock & food ministry is visiting the country with the aim of setting up the channels to import cattle from Paraguay, which is of better genetic quality – either live bulls and cows, or bovine semen. According to the MAG report, the Guatemalan delegation paid trips to the countryside to see the animals used for breeding and laboratories, accompanied by Paraguay's deputy minister of livestock, Marcelo González, and the honorary consul of Guatemala Ricardo Felippo.
