VENEZUELA: Supreme court steps up pressure on Guaidó

On 1 April, the president of Venezuela’s supreme court (TSJ), Maikel Moreno, called upon the government-controlled constituent assembly to strip Juan Guaidó, the opposition figurehead and widely recognised interim president, of his legislative immunity from prosecution.
