VENEZUELA: Maduro gov’t retaliates against opposition

On 7 May, Venezuela’s supreme court (TSJ) called for the immunity from prosecution of seven opposition national deputies to be lifted so that they can be tried for the accusations of treason levelled against them by the de facto Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV) government led by Nicolás Maduro.
