In brief: Honduras

* The government led by President Juan Orlando Hernández and the European Union (EU) have signed two agreements totalling just over US$76m. One is to promote employment (Euroempleo) and the other (ProDerechos) to strengthen human rights. Euroempleo seeks to promote decent employment through improving qualifications of the labour force and efficiency of the labour market, among other things. ProDerechos seeks to strengthen institutional frameworks with regard to human rights at a local and national level.
