* Cuba’s state mouthpiece Granma has announced that the first batch of train wagons from China have arrived as part of a programme to repair and develop Cuba’s railway system. According to Cuba’s transport minister, Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila, 80 of the more than 200 train wagons have arrived as part of the programme which also includes plans to modernise the communications system and repair railway lines.
