Colombia’s President Iván Duque presented a robust defence of his government’s implementation of the peace accord with the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc), and wider public security policy, during the opening phase of a three-nation tour of Europe this week in the UK. Duque, accompanied on his trip by several cabinet ministers, also discussed, among other things, the impact of the Venezuelan migrant crisis.
